Versatility and Variety…
    Used for larger openings,  roll-up screens provide either insect  or solar control... or both.   

    If insect control is your main concern,  we can provide a drop-down screen with a standard 18/14 or 20/20
    vinyl coated fiberglass mesh that will keep out those pesky creatures.  If your goal is to reduce the affects of
    the sun’s irritating glare or harmful UV rays,  then can provide a solar shade with a wide choice of  fabrics
    which can provide for either a slight reduction or total blackout… or somewhere in between.  Also, if you
    would like to control insects,  but because of the openings orientation you would like to provide some degree
    of solar control we have fabrics that will do both.

    To meet the needs of your application, we have available several styles of quality screening  materials from
    Phifer,  Mermet,  or Ferrari.

    Our drop-down screens are adaptable to a variety of large opening applications:  porches, lanais, balconies,
    terraces, gazebos, picture windows, double door openings, garages, workshops, and even commercial
    applications.  Unlike the roll-up door screens that pull across the opening,  these screens pull down.

    The screens are available in lengths to 25’  and drops to 16’.

    The finish is a durable powder coated one that resists the harmful affects of UV light and salt spray.  

    Depending on your need,  we can recommend two quality products… Progressive Motorized Screens  and  
    Arquati Solarpro.    Both products incorporate an extruded aluminum track and zipper system that is very
    functional and durable.   While the Progressive Motorized Screen is available only in a motorized version,  the
    Arquati Solarpro offers a manually operated version as well.  Somfy, Simu, or Nice motors are used and
    have a manufacturer's 5 year warranty.

    The Arquati Solarpro is also available in a variety of  housing sizes and track options depending on the
    application.   For example,  if you only want the drop-down screen for shading purposes,  you may desire to
    save some money and select an option where the screen material is not fixed in a track.

    Because these roll-up screens are of an aesthetic and unobtrusive design, this solution does not have to
    come at the expense of sacrificing the beauty of your home.   The hood, tracks, and weight bar are available
    in 3 standard colors:  White, Bronze, or Ivory;  10 custom colors;  or can be matched to the color of your home’
    s exterior.  You can also choose from a wide variety of fabric colors to best match your home’s exterior.

    Because these screens roll up when not in use,  they do not block your view.
